I pursued my Master's degree in Coastal Dynamics at the University of Montpellier (France) and subsequently completed an internship at the European Institute of Marine Sciences. Under the supervision of Stéphane Bertin, I developed a configuration of the SWAN model for the Iroise Sea.
I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Auckland, studying the impact of changing sea level on estuarine-open coast sediment exchange in New Zealand. My PhD project (Our Changing Coasts), supervised by Professor Karin Bryan and Professor Giovanni Coco, focuses on long-term morphological predictions.
Using the behavior-oriented ASMITA model (Townend et al, 2016), I am examining sediment interactions within Whangateau Harbour and the adjacent open coast, taking into account the influence of vegetation such as mangroves and sea grass, as well as various scenarios of sea level rise.
