Xuelin Ding

Biography

I finished my undergraduate and masters study on coastal engineering at Hohai University, China. During my masters study, I used the superensemble approach to improve the typhoon and storm surge forecast at South and East China Sea.

Currently, I am working on my PhD project at University of Auckland, New Zealand. This project is focused on the excitation of edge waves and heir morphologic impacts. Besides this specific topic, I am also interested in other coastal hydrodynamic and morphodynamic processes.
